Cookie Policy
Last updated: November 2nd, 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function, remember preferences, or measure how it’s used.
2. How consent works on this site
Non-essential cookies are switched off by default. Nothing beyond strictly necessary cookies loads until you actively choose to allow it via the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time — see Section 5.
This reflects Cyprus’s ePrivacy Law, which requires prior, opt-in consent before storing or accessing anything on your device for purposes beyond delivering the page you asked for.
3. Categories of cookies we use
This site currently uses two categories of cookies. If that changes — a marketing pixel or a language preference tool gets added later — this list gets a new entry at that point, not before.
-
Strictly necessary. Core site functionality — page loading, security, remembering your cookie choice itself. Cannot be switched off. No consent required; these are exempt under the ePrivacy Law.
-
Analytics. Understanding visitor numbers and behaviour, via Wix’s built-in site analytics and Google Analytics. Consent required — off by default until you opt in.
4. Third-party cookies
This site’s own cookies are listed above. Separately, when you click through to book a consultation, you leave this website and land on DoctorManager (app.doctormanager.be), which sets its own cookies under its own cookie and privacy policies. Those cookies are outside our control and this policy doesn’t cover them — check DoctorManager’s own site for details before booking.
Where we use any other third-party tools (analytics, embedded maps or video), those providers may also set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
5. Managing or withdrawing consent
You can change your cookie preferences at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer, or by adjusting your browser settings. Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before withdrawal.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our tool stack or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the last revision.
