What it may address
Changes in facial appearance involve more than the skin. As deeper tissues descend, they can alter facial contours and the relationship between neighbouring features. A lower brow position, for example, may contribute to a heavier or more tired appearance around the eyes.
An endoscopic approach allows targeted repositioning of underlying tissues. In Dr Georgiou’s treatment planning, particular attention is given to the brows and their relationship with the eyes, alongside the other facial areas selected for treatment. The intention is a more rested, balanced appearance that remains recognisably the patient’s own.
Facial balance and suitability
The aim is to restore balance rather than impose a standard brow shape or a uniformly lifted appearance. Brow height, shape and symmetry are considered in relation to the eyes, forehead and overall facial proportions.
The procedure may be relevant to selected patients who have early tissue descent and retain good skin elasticity. Age alone does not determine suitability: skin quality, the amount of excess skin, underlying anatomy, general health and expectations all influence the recommendation.
Approach
Dr Georgiou describes an approach that works with the deeper supporting tissues, including the deep plane, to address tissue descent. The areas treated and the direction of repositioning are planned around the patient’s anatomy and the intended result. Where appropriate, complementary procedures may be discussed to address concerns that lifting alone cannot resolve.
Recovery
Swelling, bruising, tightness and temporary changes in sensation may occur after surgery. Recovery depends on the extent of treatment, any accompanying procedures and the patient’s healing response. Small incisions do not necessarily mean a short recovery, because the underlying tissues also need time to heal.
Dr Georgiou explains the expected recovery period and provides individual guidance on returning to work, social activities and exercise. The appearance continues to settle as swelling subsides and the tissues adapt.
Expected benefits, limitations and risks are discussed during consultation. These include bleeding, infection, scarring, asymmetry, changes in sensation, nerve injury and hair changes around incision sites; the relevant risks depend on the precise procedure performed.

Endoscopic Facelift
An endoscopic facelift aims to rejuvenate the face by repositioning deeper tissues through discreet incisions. Dr Georgiou’s approach considers facial balance as a whole, with particular attention to brow shape and position, the appearance around the eyes and the preservation of natural expression.
