What they may address

Loose skin and localized fat on the upper arms or inner thighs can cause friction, make exercise or clothing uncomfortable, and affect confidence. The degree and location of laxity determine what can reasonably be improved.

The procedure

Liposuction may be combined with removal of excess skin. An arm lift and a thigh lift are separate operations, and whether they can be combined safely depends on the extent of treatment and the patient's health.

Scars

Incisions are placed along the inner arm or inner thigh where possible, but their length depends on how much skin must be removed. Scars are permanent and mature gradually.

Results

The aim is a more comfortable, balanced contour. Perfect symmetry or an invisible scar cannot be promised, and skin quality continues to change with time.
